About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Kitchen Utility team member to join our Operations department. This full-time, hourly position offers a pivotal role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. If you are hardworking, organized, and reliable, we would love to have you as an integral part of our dynamic team.
What You'll Do
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Support with receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Assist kitchen staff by prepping basic food items and ensuring stations remain stocked.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy work environment.
- Take part in the disposal and management of food waste and recyclable materials.
- Ensure equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Willingness to follow and enforce hygiene and safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment is an asset but not required.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluency in English with the ability to understand and follow instructions clearly.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
