Pool Service Technician

Streamline Pool Professionals is a swimming pool service, repair, and renovation company. The vast majority of our clients are commercial swimming pools (hotels, gyms, condominium associations). Schedule:

· Year round position.

· 40 hours per week. Overtime available in peak seasons (May- September).

· October through April: Monday through Friday.

· May through September: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

· Hours are flexible but typically are 8:00 am- 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm.

Job Requirements:

· Must be over 21.

· Must be able to successfully complete Certified Pool Operator training. This is paid training provided at no cost.

· Must have valid driver’s license with no more than 2 points.

· Must have reliable transportation to and from company vehicle (vehicle will be kept at a company location nearest to technician’s house).

· Must be dependable, friendly, willing to learn, and a team player. Ability to follow direction is very important. Must take safety seriously.

Job Responsibilities

· Technician will use company vehicle to travel from pool to pool. Pools are located through out New Jersey.

· Perform weekly or semi-weekly pool services which include:

o Vacuuming

o Skimming

o Cleaning tiles

o Cleaning skimmer baskets

o Backwashing

o Cleaning pump hair baskets

o Filling chemical feeders

o Testing pool chemistry

o Adding appropriate chemicals

o Logging visits in paper and on online form (via phone)

· Interacting with customers to provide support, answer questions, and provide information.

· Deliver small amounts of chemicals as needed (must be able to lift 50 lbs from truck or van to a hand truck).

· Deliver small items used for pool maintenance such as vacuum hoses, safety equipment, etc.

· Take bacteriological samples from pools and deliver to labs for analysis.

· Direct any concerns, problems, issues, or questions to management.

Compensation:

· $21-$25 per hour

· 5 paid days off.

· Paid holidays for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

· Pay is bi-weekly. Direct deposit is available.

· Eligible for health insurance after 90 days

· Eligible for 401K after one year.

Advancement Opportunities

· Service technician will continue to learn and be trained in the complete operation of swimming pools.

· There are opportunities to go into areas such as Repair Technician, Account Manager, or other positions that are created as needs with our clients arise. As a company philosophy, we are always trying to add value by learning more and growing together.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
