The Director of Property Management– Stream Austin plays an integral role in the success of Stream’s Austin’s Management platform. The position is responsible for the overall operations and financial performance of our commercial property management division.

Job Description
The Director of Property Management– Stream Austin plays an integral role in the success of Stream’s Austin’s Management platform. The position is responsible for the overall operations and financial performance of our commercial property management division.
Responsibilities
In your assigned portfolio:
- Oversight and supervision of the existing property management staff.
- Adequately staff all management assignments.
- Identify, attract, hire, and retain top talent in the property management industry across all disciplines.
- Build employee teams and provide training, motivation, and direction for superior performance.
- Resolve day-to-day property management issues.
- Directly review property budgets, reforecasts and operating expense reconciliations with your direct reports, i.e. VPs of Property Management. Coordinate and oversee the same with VPs and their direct reports.
- Conduct and document routine property inspections.
- Facilitate teamwork and communication across divisions and departments.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients in your assigned portfolio; collaborate with Managing Director of Property Management on strategic or multi-market client initiatives.
- Complete annual performance reviews on direct reports by setting clear directions that align the PM team with the overall strategy of the company. Ensure adherence to Stream and customers’ policies and procedures.
- Seek to build employee teams and provide training for direct reports, motivate and direct superior performance leveraging Stream’s Code of Conduct and Legendary CX training platform.
- Coordinate and conduct annual Property Management Audits; oversee and ensure completion of annual Engineering Audits.
- Collaborate with Houston Managing Director of Property Management and other Directors of PM to provide consistency across the company’s platform.
- Manage financial performance of the assigned portfolio.
- Support business development of property management assignments – including the development of RFP responses and presentation.
- Analyze the profitability of each assignment and proposed assignment.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and governmental agency directives with direct reports and Director of Operations.
- Build relationships with other Stream departments including but not limited to accounting, leasing, marketing, and construction.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field required.
- 5-7 years management experience with significant supervisory responsibility and relevant property management/or commercial real estate experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and computer literate
- Business development experience
- CPM, RPA designations desired
