What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Stetson Property Management?
We are looking for a TX LICENSED property manager ( NOT a sales agent) to be responsible for the direct management oversight of assigned residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue. You will be required to work M - F 8 AM - 5 PM. (min)This position includes 10 paid vacation days per year, 5 personal days, and an optional 401K. We do not offer any health benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
Skills
- Proven work experience as a property manager (not a sales realtor)
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
