What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper Receiver position at Stream-Flo?

Key position functions include:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable standards/procedures, which may include: API, JHA, QAM, QCP, etc.
- Ensure processes and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner,
- Unload and visually inspect all incoming goods, products and corresponding documentation:
- Report errors or damages
- Fill out forms for damaged and returned items and route them correctly.
- Print receiving tickets, fill in all necessary parameters, sign and proceed to receive into ERP system.
- Put away incoming material as per receiving instructions, quality Control Procedures, and other requirements in a timely manner.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers as required.
- Assist coordinator/pickers when required.
- Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages, product discrepancies, paperwork discrepancies or delivery delays.
- Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, receiving tickets, receipt registers, MTR’s, and related documents.
- Warehouse duties include:
- Maintaining and organizing goods, keeping areas clean and orderly
- Keeping both product and storage areas clearly labeled
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- High School diploma or equivalent, supplemented with 1 to 2 years of related shipping and receiving experience.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Training frequency: On-going/as needed.
- Valid driver’s license
