What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Stream-Flo?

Key position functions include:
- Coordinating Sales Order and Production order picking requirements with warehouseman, ensuring orders are accurately picked in a timely manner.
- Processing sales order outbound deliveries, providing deliveries to the shipping department for scheduling shipment.
- Working with procurement to pick subcontracting and farmout deliveries as needed. Providing shipping with the necessary paperwork to coordinate deliveries.
- Ensuring all engraving requirements (i.e. serial tags and calibration heads)
- Completion of weekly & monthly inspections of engraving machine and other inventory equipment as needed.
- Maintaining care and preservation of inventory items, working with QC on non-conforming products.
- Responsible for preparation of annual physical count and assist with reconciliation where needed
- Responsible for the cycle counting process and resolution of discrepancies where needed
- Responsible for review and approval of warehouseman’s incoming and outgoing transactions
- Ensuring accuracy for all inventory movement
- Responsible for inventory adjustments and communicating with the manager for approval
- Train and assist warehouseman as needed.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of material handlers
- Other duties may be required
Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid understanding of effective inventory management practices
- Previous experience in supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication abilities
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
- A strong commitment to the workplace, health and safety, solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
