Location: Remote (United States & Canada)
Duration: 4 months
Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week

About Stray
Stray is an early-stage startup building a community-driven streaming platform and creative studio designed to discover, fund, and elevate the next generation of independent filmmakers.
We’re reimagining how films get made, cutting through traditional gatekeepers and empowering creators and audiences to shape what gets greenlit. You’ll be joining a small, founder-led team that values ownership, curiosity, and empowering filmmakers.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Community Growth Intern to help build, manage, and scale Stray’s Ambassador Program, our flagship community initiative.
This role is ideal for someone interested in community building, partnerships, and grassroots growth. You’ll work directly with founders to shape how Stray attracts, supports, and activates ambassadors around the world.
What You’ll Work On
- Supporting the design and execution of the Stray Ambassador Program
- Recruiting and onboarding ambassadors (film students, creators, tastemakers)
- Managing ambassador communications, guidelines, and resources
- Tracking engagement, performance, and growth metrics
- Gathering feedback from ambassadors to improve the program
- Helping build a sense of belonging and mission within the community
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you are:
- A student or professional interested in community, growth, or partnerships
- Highly organized and strong at communication
- Comfortable coordinating people and programs
- Passionate about creators, culture, or grassroots movements
- Excited to build systems from scratch
Bonus (not required):
- Experience running clubs, communities, or ambassador programs
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Discord, or community tools
- Interest in film, media, or creator ecosystems
