Responsibilities
The Real Estate Attorney will work with partners and clients on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving the sale, acquisition, financing and leasing of shopping centers, office buildings, multifamily housing, energy assets and other commercial real estate. Duties include:
- Draft, review and manage transaction documentation.
- Assist in reviewing, managing, and responding to diligence requests.
- Coordinate closings.
- Analyze and examine real estate titles
Qualifications
Requirements of the role are:
- Minimum of four years of experience, including commercial real estate and financing transactions.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Juris Doctor.
- Licensed to practice in New York State.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships.
At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $155,000 plus eligible for variable compensation in the form of commissions for closed business. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as years of experience and skill level.
