Overview
Stratus Surfaces is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Showroom Sales Associate to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for homeowners, designers, builders, architects, fabricators, and trade professionals visiting our showroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, enjoys building relationships, and excels at guiding customers through the stone selection process while delivering an exceptional showroom experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, designers, builders, and fabricators visiting the showroom.
- Conduct showroom tours and educate customers on natural stone, quartz, and porcelain.
- Assist clients in selecting products that align with their design goals and budget.
- Coordinate slab viewings and maintain accurate records of customer interaction within our CRM/ERP system.
- Maintain showroom and slab gallery to ensure a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment.
- Support marketing events, customer appreciation functions, and industry networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with outside sales reps to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ability to work occasional weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, showroom sales, interior design, construction materials, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele.
- Comfortable learning technical product information and educating customers.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
