Stratus International is a dynamic and growing sales organization in the semiconductor industry. We specialize in providing quality parts to semiconductor manufacturers. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations.

 

Summary of Position

As a Business Support Specialist at Stratus International, you will support daily business operations by managing order entry, coordinating marketing and sales support activities, and handling a variety of administrative tasks. This role is essential to ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency across departments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Success in this position requires clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Tracking:

  • Accurately process and enter customer orders in a timely manner using the FileMaker database.
  • Provide customer order confirmations, monitor shipment status, and review inventory levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to verify order details and ensure all customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products and customer‑specific pricing to support accurate order processing.


Marketing and Sales Support:

  • Assist with content creation and ongoing maintenance of direct and indirect marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and ensure all schedules, campaigns, and deadlines are current and accurate.
  • Organize and maintain CRM data to support efficient and effective marketing deployment and sales follow‑up.
  • Collaborate with management to regularly review, update, and maintain company materials, including presentations, documents, and the employee handbook.
  • Assist with preparing items for shipment and coordinating pickup schedules as needed.


Communication:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, customers, and clients to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to gather customer requirements and accurately relay information to clients in a timely manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working within database and CRM environments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
