As a Cirrus Authorized Service Center, our KOKV maintenance team focuses primarily on general aviation aircraft with reciprocating engines, with a significant emphasis on Cirrus Aircraft maintenance and support
This role is hands-on and maintenance-driven, ideal for technicians who enjoy GA work, owner-flown aircraft, and in-depth mechanical troubleshooting rather than heavy turbine or airline-style environments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer-owned and transient general aviation aircraft, with the majority of work involving reciprocating engine platforms
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer technical data
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, avionics, and systems discrepancies
- Remove, install, rig, and operationally check aircraft components and systems as required
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation, logbook entries, and work orders in compliance with FAA and company standards
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance outcomes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Support AOG and priority maintenance needs as required
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with aircraft owners, pilots, and internal team members

Qualifications:
Qualifications / Skills
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate with no violations
- Strong experience with reciprocating engines; general aviation maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Prior Cirrus Aircraft experience is highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a Cirrus Service Center environment with high standards for quality, documentation, and customer service
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply manufacturer maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical data
- Solid troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, avionics, hydraulic, and aircraft systems
- Possesses a personal set of tools appropriate for general aviation aircraft maintenance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move throughout the hangar as required
- Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and standby as operationally required
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, if required
