Position Overview:

Stratigos Banquet Centre is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to oversee all aspects of banquet operations. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional event execution, maintaining high service standards, and delivering memorable experiences for guests. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties
• Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
• Manage and supervise banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer satisfaction
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment; coordinate ordering as needed
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
• Resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banquet management, hospitality, or event coordination preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage service operations
