Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized academic and behavioral support to preschool students.
- Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data for progress monitoring.
- Support students with personal care needs, including toileting, lifting, and feeding.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
- An Associate's Degree or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (Parapro) is required.
- Previous experience working with students who require academic and/or behavioral support is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior plans and data collection methodologies.
- Ability to lift and assist students with mobility, as well as provide feeding and toileting assistance when necessary.
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a commitment to supporting young children's growth and success.
