We are looking for an experienced IT Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building and managing relationships with decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, and partnering closely with recruiters to deliver exceptional talent solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Researches, develops, and cultivates new account opportunities by understanding the needs of the market (in-demand skills, current relationships, future projects) and utilizing tactical selling techniques to establish account prospects to acquire new business.
- Maintains client relationships through active communication to identify growth opportunities.
- Serve as the point of contact with regards to client requisitions to inform the fulfillment team of the client's needs.
- Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Technology, Procurement, HR).
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Document all sales activity in CRM.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the IT staffing/consulting industry.
- Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
