What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Coach (Part-Time) position at Strategic Therapy Associates Inc?
Join Strategic Therapy Associates and help at-risk youth and families in Virginia! As a Family Coach, you'll guide clients toward better social engagement and improved relational interactions.
What You'll Do:
- Motivate clients toward positive change through one-on-one life skills coaching.
- Teach coping skills and anger management techniques.
- Set a positive example.
- Complete daily documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Safely transport clients.
- Be flexible and adapt to changes.
We're Looking For:
- Experience with at-risk youth/adolescents is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to pass background check & TB screen.
- Team player, organized, and a self-starter.
- Willingness to transport clients.
- Available for afternoon/evening hours.
- Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled) in Human Services field (Social Work, Psych, Counseling, etc.).
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
- Willingness to transport clients as needed.
