Weekends and evenings ARE REQUIRED for this position. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT WORK EVERY WEEKEND OR IF YOU HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including knife skills and equipment use, to promote a safe working environment
- Prep food during shift during slow times
- Clean area at end of shift
- Stock product before, during and after rush.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Experience with dietary department procedures and catering services is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation to coordinate effectively with colleagues

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
