Job Title: Field Service Technician llLocation: Caldwell ID 83607Shift timings: 6:00 PM - 3:30 AMPay rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hr Job Description • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workstation Setup Technician to assist with the installation and configuration of multiple thin client workstations. The technician will be responsible for setting up devices, ensuring connectivity, verifying functionality, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.• Is this position remote or in person? 100% traveling• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? HW installation/configuration and Network cabling (install/pull)• What will the work schedule be for this position? (M-F? 8-5? Overtime? Afterhours?) 6:00 PM - 3:30 AM• How many overall years of experience should this person have? 2-5 Years Tech III level• Do they need any specific certifications or education? Tech III or equivalent experience - formal cabling certification a plus - position requires cable pulls and termination through conduit.• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Varies - Nationwide (Transportation mode and distance will vary and require lodging.• What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? Can be located anywhere in the US• What is the exact work location or city, state, or zip? Can be located anywhere in the USKey Responsibilities:Unpack, connect, and set up thin clients, monitors, keyboards, and mice.Verify power, network, and display connectivity for all workstations.Mount or position monitors as required.Label and cable-manage each workstation neatly.Perform basic functionality checks (login screen, network connectivity, peripheral response).Report any defective or missing components to the project coordinator.Ensure workstation layouts align with site standards or provided seating plans.Cleanup the area once the work is finished .Document workstation setup completion and obtain signoff from onsite contact. Required Skills and Experience:Proven experience in IT hardware setup or desktop support.Familiarity with thin client configuration and peripherals.Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues.Strong attention to detail and organization skills.Excellent communication and reporting ability.
