Position Overview
The Financial Crimes Specialist supports the Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) organization as a contingent resource, contributing to regulatory exams, audits, and testing engagements. This role leads exam intake, manages requests for information (RFIs), and supports leadership reporting to ensure effective coordination across multiple oversight bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on and participate in moderately complex Financial Crimes initiatives and deliverables.
- Contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Financial Crimes deliverables.
- Review, analyze, and assess moderately complex Financial Crimes challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable risk factors.
- Support the resolution of complex issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet Financial Crimes objectives.
- Apply a solid understanding of Financial Crimes policies, procedures, regulatory expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Lead exam intake activities, RFI tracking, and exam management processes.
- Produce leadership and management reporting related to exams, audits, and testing engagements, including reports derived from manual intake inputs.
- Collaborate closely with internal Financial Crimes personnel and cross-functional testing teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, or Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
- Experience may be demonstrated through a combination of professional work, training, military service, or education.
