Required skills:
- 5 years of Database Administration / DBA experience
- Sybase ASE, IQ & Replication v12/v15/v16
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) v5 v8
- IBM DB2 / UDB HADR, database design, development, maintenance
- Experience with database implementation, migration, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong DBA troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Banking/financial services domain experience
- Bash scripting and job scheduling AutoSys, Cron
- Ability to work with global/technical teams
- Bachelor s degree
Day to Day
- Provide database administration and production support across global environments.
- Support Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, Sybase Replication, DB2/UDB, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Oracle.
- Monitor database infrastructure, alerts, incidents, and perform troubleshooting/root cause analysis.
- Manage AutoSys scheduling, maintenance jobs, provisioning, user requests, and database operational tasks.
- Support Business Continuity/DR testing and database infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Work with application and IT support teams to resolve critical issues and requests.
- Follow change management procedures and create operational policies/procedures.
- Support database projects including data center migrations and database/hardware upgrades or end-of-life initiatives.
