Contract Recruiter – High Volume / Full Cycle
Location: Onsite (5 days/week) San Antonio, TX
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: 8 hours/day
Pay Rate: $25–34/hr
Overview
Seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Contract Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and delivering qualified candidates while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet business needs. The ideal candidate can handle multiple requisitions simultaneously without losing quality or speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle:
- Job postings
- Sourcing
- Screening
- Interview coordination
- Candidate submission
- Source candidates using:
- Job boards
- Networking groups
- Advanced sourcing tools
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews
- Maintain accurate candidate tracking and documentation
- Partner with hiring managers to:
- Understand hiring needs
- Deliver qualified candidates quickly
- Manage candidate pipelines and requisition flow
- Coordinate:
- Candidate feedback
- Interview scheduling
- Hiring decisions
- Support offer process and compensation alignment
- Handle high-volume requisition load with competing priorities
- Provide consistent communication to:
- Candidates
- Hiring managers
- Internal stakeholders
Technology & Tools
- Workday – job postings, workflows, requisition management
- Eightfold – candidate tracking and pipeline management
- Sourcing Tools – HireEZ, LinkedIn Recruiter, major job boards
Required Experience (HARD REQUIREMENTS)
- 2–5 years High-Volume Recruiting experience
- 2–5 years Full Cycle Recruiting experience
- 2–5 years Candidate & Client Management experience
- 4 years advanced sourcing experience
Must demonstrate:
- Strong Boolean search and X-Ray sourcing skills
- Ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Experience building talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance or financial services recruiting
- Strong requisition management and organization skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong customer service mindset
