Overview: The U.S. Health and Human Services, Program Support Center on behalf of the Federal Occupational Health Service (FOHS) has a requirement to provide national staffing services. The purpose of this opportunity is to provide professional medical staffing, occupational health professionals and ancillary staff in support of various Occupational Health Centers (OHCs) located throughout the United States.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests, to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech.
- Evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a 9 month fellowship and a certification from the American Speech-language-Hearing Association or the American Board of Audiology.
- Clinical doctoral degree (Au.D.) preferred.
