We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Angular, Node.js and PostgreSQL, along with experience supporting Child Support, Child Welfare, or other Human Services case-management applications.
In this role, you will support and enhance scalable, high-performance web applications used in statewide programs including child support, adult services, and social services operations. You will work across the full development stack — from front-end UI components to backend API services and databases.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Angular, Node.js and PostgreSQL, along with experience supporting Child Support, Child Welfare, or other Human Services case-management applications.
In this role, you will support and enhance scalable, high-performance web applications used in statewide programs including child support, adult services, and social services operations. You will work across the full development stack — from front-end UI components to backend API services and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain applications used for Child Support, Child Welfare, or Human Services case processing
- Diagnose and resolve production data issues, ensuring accuracy and system integrity
- Maintain and enhance responsive UI components using Angular (v12 ) and TypeScript
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs
- Manage PostgreSQL schemas, develop queries, and perform database optimization
- Ensure application responsiveness, browser compatibility, and high-performance standards
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and release planning
- Integrate external APIs and services as needed Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless system functionality
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field) and 8-10 years of equivalent programming experience
- 8-10 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience with
- Angular (v12 or newer)
- PostgreSQL
- Node.js
- Experience supporting or developing systems for Child Support, Child Welfare, Adult Services, or similar Human Services programs
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Experience with REST API development and integration
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with Docker
- Experience working on systems related to Child Support Enforcement (CSE) application
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with OAuth2 / JWT authentication
- Experience with NgRx or other state management tools
- Understanding of performance optimization and database indexing
