Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Angular, Node.js and PostgreSQL, along with experience supporting Child Support, Child Welfare, or other Human Services case-management applications.In this role, you will support and enhance scalable, high-performance web applications used in statewide programs including child support, adult services, and social services operations. You will work across the full development stack — from front-end UI components to backend API services and databases.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain applications used for Child Support, Child Welfare, or Human Services case processingDiagnose and resolve production data issues, ensuring accuracy and system integrityMaintain and enhance responsive UI components using Angular (v12 ) and TypeScriptBuild, optimize, and troubleshoot RESTful APIsManage PostgreSQL schemas, develop queries, and perform database optimizationEnsure application responsiveness, browser compatibility, and high-performance standardsWrite clean, well-documented, and testable codeParticipate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and release planningIntegrate external APIs and services as neededCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless system functionalityRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field) and 8-10 years of equivalent programming experience8-10 years of professional experience in software developmentStrong hands-on experience with Angular (v12 or newer)PostgreSQLNode.jsExperience supporting or developing systems for Child Support, Child Welfare, Adult Services, or similar Human Services programsSolid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive designExperience with REST API development and integrationFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile developmentStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred SkillsExperience with DockerExperience working on systems related to Child Support Enforcement (CSE) applicationKnowledge of AWS or other cloud platformsFamiliarity with OAuth2 / JWT authenticationExperience with NgRx or other state management toolsUnderstanding of performance optimization and database indexing
