Express Employment Professionals is looking for an exceptional Skilled Trades Recruiter to help grow our industrial and skilled trades division throughout the Greater Richmond area.

What You'll Do

• Recruit industrial maintenance technicians, electricians, welders, machinists, CNC operators, mechanics, and other skilled professionals.
• Proactively source passive candidates through networking, referrals, job boards, trade schools, and direct outreach.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified skilled trades talent.
• Interview candidates, evaluate technical qualifications, verify experience, and coordinate placements.
• Develop relationships with skilled trades professionals who trust you with their careers.
• Partner closely with our sales team to fill high-value staffing and direct-hire opportunities.
• Move quickly, follow up relentlessly, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

Who We're Looking For

• Proven recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades, manufacturing, industrial staffing, or technical recruitment.
• Someone who understands the difference between a maintenance mechanic, industrial electrician, PLC technician, and CNC machinist.
• A natural relationship builder who isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
• Competitive, organized, persistent, and accountable.
• Strong interviewing, sourcing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
• A results-driven professional who wants to build something significant.
