What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pallet Builder / Production Associate (Relevant experience preferred) position at Strategic Logistics?
Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for a highly physical Pallet Builder position. This role involves building, repairing, and handling wooden pallets in a fast-paced production environment. This is a very physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting, repetitive motion, and working on your feet for the entire shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build wooden pallets using nail guns, saws, and hand tools
- Repair damaged pallets by removing and replacing boards
- Lift, carry, and stack pallets throughout the shift
- Measure and cut wood to specifications
- Inspect pallets for quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements (VERY IMPORTANT):
- Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the entire shift
- Continuous standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat/cold, dust, noise)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or general labor preferred
- Experience using hand tools and power tools (nail guns, saws, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Work Environment:
- Industrial setting with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
- Physically intense, labor-heavy work throughout the entire shift
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
