JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategic Kids After-School group leaders will support the Fullerton Unified School District afterschool programs by overseeing a specific group of TK/K or 1st-6th grade. Ratios for TK/K consist of 10:1 and 1st-6th consist of 20:1. Group leaders primary responsibilities are subject but not limited to providing homework support, plan and implement classroom activities for your group, supervise students inside the classroom and outside on the playground/field during sports and recess, follow on site policies and procedures, and supervise student transitions. Strategic Kids staff will be integrated and infused into the district run afterschool programs as one unified program.
EXPERIENCE
* 1-2 years of experience working with Elementary age students
* Afterschool program experience
* Knowledge of S.T.E.A.M and general enrichment activities
*TK/K experience
*Background in special education/ABA preferred*
* Redirection and classroom management
WORK HOURS
M, T, Th, F: 2:00 - 5:30 pm & W: 12:30 - 5:30 pm
* Must be available to work all five days of the week
HOURLY RATE
$22/hour

REQUIREMENTS
✓ Live scan fingerprinting (paid by Strategic Kids)
✓ i-9 Documents (example: passport or driver’s license & social security card)
✓ CPR and First Aid certified (within 30 days of employment)
✓ Completion of Mandated Reporting training (within 30 days of employment)
SUMMER WORK
There are also various Strategic Kids job options during the summer! We offer part time and full time hours during the summer.
Opportunities for extra hours
Strategic Kids has opportunities to provide extra hours with school day support hours and lunchtime programs. These hours are not guaranteed and are earned.
