Senior Cost Accountant

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team in a high-impact, strategic individual contributor role. This position partners closely with production leadership, operations, sales, and corporate finance to deliver accurate costing, performance insights, and data-driven financial guidance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product and operational cost structures, ensuring reliability and compliance with accounting standards
• ?Manage and analyze cost drivers acrossmaterials, distribution, labor, and overhead to support pricing, forecasting, and reporting accuracy
• ?Play a key role in monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategy
• ?Provide education and guidance around cost drivers, margin performance, and financial trends
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of hands-on cost accounting and financial analysis experience
• Strong experience with ERP and accounting systems
• Solid understanding of GAAP, inventory accounting, and operational finance
