Strategic Alliances Group, Inc. is seeking to hire a Material Coordinator to support supply chain and inventory management operations in accordance with contractual requirements. The Material Coordinator will assist in the management, tracking, storage and distribution of materials while ensuring compliance with established supply policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for supporting supply chain and inventory management operations to ensure the accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials. This role performs technical supply management functions in support of depot, local, or other supply activities, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Material Coordinator maintains inventory records, supports cataloging and property accountability, and assists in optimizing material utilization and storage practices. The individual applies a working knowledge of supply systems, nomenclature, and standard operating procedures to support efficient and accurate supply operations.
- Perform inventory management and maintain accurate records of materials and equipment
- Support storage management and ensure proper handling and organization of supplies
- Assist with cataloging, property accountability, and material utilization processes
- Utilize supply systems and databases to track, update, and reconcile inventory
- Ensure compliance with governing supply systems, programs, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill material requests and support operations
- Assist with inventory audits, inspections, and discrepancy resolution
Required Qualifications and Experience
1. High school diploma, vocational school degree, or GED certificate
2. of two (2) years of experience in technical supply management (inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization)
3. Working knowledge of supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, and procedures
4. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Preferred Qualifications in Addition to Required Experience
1. Experience supporting government or DoD supply operations
2. Familiarity with automated inventory or logistics management systems
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Pay: $25.38 - $30.57 per hour
