Our team has a Technical Writer position available in Norfolk, VA. Primary responsibilities include:
- Gather, analyze, and compose technical information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports
- Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents
- Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology
- Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting, or other related discipline and 4-6 years’ general experience
- COMPTIA Security CE Certification preferred but not required.
