CENTER supports Agency units by implementing safety, environmental, and occupational health policies through health risk assessments, standardized procedures, and training.

As part of its stand-up, CENTER is not only developing foundational policies, workflows, and organizational structures but also maintaining and integrating existing practices from multiple legacy groups now consolidated under CENTER. This effort requires harmonizing diverse methodologies, processes, and resources to create a unified approach to safety and environmental health management.

CENTER develops and maintains key publications and products that promote safety and operational effectiveness across the Agency. These include Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), the Annual Safety Report, Fact Sheets, quarterly newsletter, and other communications. These enable CENTER to meet its mission objectives by ensuring high-quality products and processes support Agency safety initiatives and operational readiness.

Due to staffing limitations, CENTER requires contractor support to guide technical experts through established processes, provide technical writing and editorial reviews, facilitate meetings, and ensure deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and compliance standards. Contractors will also provide administrative and project lifecycle support, including tracking timelines, organizing documentation, and maintaining alignment with Agency policies.

SCOPE

  • Provide administrative support, facilitation, documentation, editing, and technical writing services to support the development, integration, and implementation of CENTER’s policies, guidance, and operational practices.
  • Conduct initial research and analysis to inform CENTER publications, facilitate meetings and workgroups, draft and edit guidance documents and promotional materials, manage CENTER libraries and resources, and provide administrative support in accomplishing these.
  • Assist in technical editing of training-related materials and produce promotional products such as the Annual Safety Report, newsletters, and infographics.
  • provide technical writing, editorial support, administrative assistance, and project lifecycle management to support CENTER’s development, refinement, and delivery of key publications and products. These include Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), the Annual Safety Report, Fact Sheets, "The Signal" newsletter, and other communications.
  • Guide technical experts through established CENTER processes, ensuring compliance with standards, accessibility requirements, and operational objectives. Tasks include facilitating meetings, tracking timelines, performing quality assurance checks, organizing documentation, and supporting the full lifecycle of CENTER projects and products.
  • Ensure CENTER’s ability to deliver high-quality, professional materials that align with Agency policies, promote safety initiatives, and enhance operational readiness.

TASKS

  • Meeting Support - facilitate meetings and provide coordination to ensure effective collaboration, follow-up actions, and alignment with CENTER objectives. Meetings are expected to occur on a regular basis
  • Product and Publication Support
  • Project Life Cycle - provide support across all phases of CENTER projects
