Summary: We are seeking a Senior DynaTrace Engineer with extensive experience in tenant consolidation, log migration, application onboarding, and operational management within the DynaTrace platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DynaTrace's capabilities, including APM (Application Performance Management), and will drive the efficient deployment, optimization, and maintenance of DynaTrace solutions. This is a senior technical role, requiring hands-on expertise and a proactive approach to solving complex monitoring challenges across a range of applications and environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Tenant Consolidation: Lead and execute tenant consolidation initiatives across various DynaTrace environments, ensuring smooth migration, minimal downtime, and optimal resource allocation.
• Log Migration: Oversee the migration of logs and metrics into DynaTrace, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity. Work with development and operations teams to ensure the migration process does not disrupt business operations.
• Application Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of new applications into DynaTrace, including configuring agents, setting up monitoring, and ensuring integration with existing systems.
• Operational Management: Take full ownership of the operational health of DynaTrace environments, ensuring optimal performance and response times for monitoring and analytics. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT infrastructure teams to understand business requirements and implement effective APM strategies. Provide technical support for troubleshooting performance-related issues in applications.
• Performance Optimization: Regularly review and optimize the DynaTrace environment for improved application performance, user experience, and efficient resource management.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Develop and maintain documentation around DynaTrace configurations, onboarding procedures, and migration steps. Share best practices and lessons learned with the broader engineering team.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and teams, helping them enhance their skills in DynaTrace and APM solutions.
• Incident Management: Proactively monitor and address any incidents, outages, or performance degradation, ensuring a quick response and resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with DynaTrace APM platform, Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Log Monitoring. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of application performance, infrastructure monitoring, and log management.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with developers, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Certifications: DynaTrace certification (DTCP - DynaTrace Certified Professional) is a plus.
