Job Description:
We are a growing granite, marble, and quartz countertop installation company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting & HR Specialist to manage day-to-day financial and employee-related functions. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling both accounting and administrative responsibilities and enjoys working in a small business, hands-on environment.
This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with payroll and HR functions. Experience in construction or job-based environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, including entering vendor bills and processing payments
- Assist with accounts receivable and customer invoicing
- Process payroll and assist with payroll tax filings (monthly/quarterly)
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Support general ledger maintenance and ensure data accuracy
- Assist with financial reporting, including balance sheet and profit & loss
- Handle HR-related tasks such as onboarding, employee records, and general support
- Help maintain organized accounting processes in a fast-paced environment
- Potential involvement in job costing and project tracking
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small business setting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or job costing environment is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
