𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄:

This is a full time, on site position responsible for monitoring and operating water treatment processes, maintaining equipment, collecting and analyzing samples, and ensuring compliance with state and federal drinking water regulations. The role also supports overall plant operations, process control, and system reliability to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality water to the community.

Candidates may apply as a trainee or as a licensed Waterworks Operator. Trainees will receive on the job training and are expected to obtain required certifications within established timeframes.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid Virginia driver’s license

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred experience includes knowledge of plant operations, process control, water treatment systems, or pump station operations. Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆:

$18.78 to $28.17 per hour, depending on qualifications and certifications
