Floral Design Trainee
Job status: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 12111 W Broad St Richmond VA
Strange’s at Short Pump is looking for creative and artistic minds to join our Floral Design Trainee program. No floral design experience is required (although welcome) but love for flowers is expected!
Training is for 5 consecutive days – dates TBD – training location is the short pump location.
Here is a list of the day to day duties expected of a Floral Design Trainee:
- Creates floral designs to fulfill customer orders or cash and carry purchase
- Wraps bouquets and plants
- Cleans and organizes the floral cooler
- Greets and assists customers with their floral selections and shopping experience
- Answers phones and completes cash register transactions when needed
- Other duties involve making bows, pricing a new product, and cleaning floral buckets
Applicants accepted for the program must be available to work full-time hours (40 hrs./week) year-round post-training.
