ABOUT THE ROLE
Strand Finance is looking for a confident and experienced project manager who is able to multi-task and work efficiently and independently in our small but high-paced office, driving results and company change management. As a vital team member, you will be responsible for helping to identify and organize company application development projects and tasks across both internal and external resources, assist management with tracking milestones and successes, and ensuring business requirements are documented and communicated efficiently. This is a hybrid role focused on a mix of Project Management and Business Analyst. You will act as a liaison between company senior management, internal team members and third-party vendors and developers with a focus on project management and business requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish a PMO environment and mentality over time with limited resources.
- Analyzing current business processes, workflows and procedures to identify areas for improvement of the organization’s finance business systems.
- Document requirements, functional requirements and objectives for the organization’s finance business system initiatives.
- Create process documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including management, staff and contractors to understand business needs and solutions that align to overall business strategies.
- Perform a variety of complex project management, business analysis, planning and technical tasks.
- Conduct a thorough data analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Technical SME for all system activities for Enterprise system implementations, enhancements, and integration projects.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and system gaps for Enterprise systems and processes. Ability to document current and to be implemented processes.
- Summarize technical designs and changes to a non-technical audience. Collaborate with cross-functional linked teams through the project lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in an application development environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management and change management and related tools.
- Experience in change management methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively across remote team members, as well as stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization.
- Experience with supporting SaaS applications (Salesforce) and related or similar application development.
- Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data./
- Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace suite.
- Ability to communicate and present/provide solution options with Pros, Cons and Recommendations for Project Initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to analyze complex business challenges, respond independently and communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Process-oriented and systematic approach to projects.
- Experienced with agile methodology and systems (Jira, Confluence). Experience in troubleshooting and documenting issues, gaps, and resolutions.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, concise specifications, documentation, and reports.
- Understanding of System and Organization Controls (SOC) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) audit requirements a plus.
- Experience with Financial Planning tools is a plus.

- Salary Range: $90,000 DOE
- Job Type: Full time
- Working Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Office-based role in Morganville, NJ
- Experience level: At least 4 years of Project Management experience
