Dental Treatment Care Coordinator

Monday - Thursday
$20 - $28 per hour, DOE

The Dental Treatment Care Coordinator is a vital part of our dental team, responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves explaining treatment plans, coordinating financial arrangements, and scheduling appointments in a way that promotes patient understanding and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Presenting Treatment Plans: Explain dental treatment plans to patients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they understand the proposed procedures and benefits.
- Financial Coordination: Assist patients with understanding treatment costs, insurance coverage, and available payment options.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, manage the patient schedule, and ensure efficient flow of patients through the office.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage, prepare and submit insurance claims, and follow up on insurance payments.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with clear and concise information about their treatment options, benefits of treatment, and potential risks.
- Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, addressing patient questions and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the dental team and patients, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient records, process payments, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
- FollowUp: Follow up with patients on their treatment plans, address any posttreatment questions or concerns, and schedule followup appointments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and insurance verification systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
