Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team here at Strain Stars. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- Plan and execute delivery routes in a timely manner
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure
- Communicate with customers to ensure smooth delivery process
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as moving goods
