Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Therapist based in Rocky Mount NC. The Therapist will provide individual and group counseling, assess client needs, and develop personalized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities will also include assisting clients in achieving recovery goals, maintaining detailed and accurate records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The Therapist will play a critical role in fostering a supportive environment to empower clients in their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in individual and group therapy techniques, along with experience in creating and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills tailored to mental health and substance abuse
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as active listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare or mental health setting
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensure as a Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Carolina
- Prior experience in addiction recovery or substance abuse counseling is an advantage
