Inside Sales Representative -Lumber, Plywood & Molding - 3 yrs Sales Experience Required

We are a growing distributor of premium lumber, plywood, and molding, and we are currently expanding our team! We have immediate openings for dedicated Inside Sales team members who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be the core connection point for our growing customer base, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and providing exceptional service both over the phone and in person.

Inside Sales Key Responsibilities

• Customer Account Management: Take, process, and manage incoming customer product orders placed via telephone.
• Counter Sales Support: Provide professional face-to-face assistance to "Will Call" customers picking up materials.
• Order Processing: Utilize our internal computer systems to accurately enter sales orders and generate production paperwork.
• Financial Transactions: Handle customer billing, process point-of-sale payments, and issue receipts securely.
• Product Consultations: Provide basic product information, availability updates, and pricing quotes to clients.

Inside Sales Requirements & Qualifications

• Sales Experience: Proven track record in a professional sales environment, specifically handling phone orders and counter service.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable with computer data entry, software navigation, printing workflows, and payment processing systems.
• Industry Preference: Prior industry experience working with lumber, plywood, moldings, or general building materials is highly preferred.
• Core Strengths: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to mathematical detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
