Tile Installer

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing tile flooring, shower floors, and shower walls, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other types of tile.
• Install tile flooring in bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other spaces.
• Install tile shower floors, including proper slope and waterproofing preparation.
• Install tile shower walls and complete shower surrounds.
• Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, leveling, cutting, and layout.
• Apply mortar, thinset, grout, caulk, and other installation materials properly.
• Make accurate tile cuts around walls, corners, drains, fixtures, niches, and other obstacles.
• Maintain straight lines, consistent spacing, proper alignment, and professional finishes.
• Follow waterproofing and installation procedures to help prevent leaks and water damage.
• Inspect completed work and correct any issues to ensure a high-quality finished product.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and other members of the team.
• Follow project schedules and complete work in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a tile installer.
• Experience installing tile floors, shower floors, and shower walls.
• Ability to read measurements and follow tile layouts.
• Skilled in tile cutting and installation techniques.
• Knowledge of proper shower waterproofing and tile installation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and ability to arrive at job sites on time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical work for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with bathroom remodels and complete shower installations.
• Experience with large-format tile.
• Experience with niches, benches, curbs, linear drains, and specialty tile layouts.
• Familiarity with Schluter or other waterproofing systems is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
