Stradley Ronon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic litigation department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing complex litigation support for attorneys across a variety of litigation matters including commercial disputes, securities, and class action litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support to attorneys through all stages of litigation, from investigation through trial and appeal.
- Draft and manage discovery requests, responses, and document productions.
- Perform in-depth legal and factual research and summarize findings.
- Organize, maintain, and track case files, pleadings, exhibits, and transcripts.
- Coordinate and manage large-scale document review projects, including use of eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance, etc.).
- Assist with deposition preparation and the coordination of expert witnesses.
- Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit lists, and trial presentation materials.
- Attend trials, hearings, and depositions as needed to support attorneys.
- Maintain calendar of case deadlines and assist with court filings (state, federal, and appellate).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process, including eDiscovery protocols and court rules (state and federal).
- Proficiency with litigation support tools and case management software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, CaseMap, Westlaw, PACER).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
