What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst, Journeyman position at StraCon Services Group, LLC?
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Program Analyst Journeyman to support a NAVAIR Aircraft Program Office at Patuxent River MD. The Program Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to the following requirements:
Essential Job Duties:
- The Program Analyst will focus on internal communications, award writing, public release routing and graphics support. Coverage with external communications, media engagement, event planning, and conference logistics connected with PEOA PAO
- Assist in reviewing messages in leadership presentations for symposiums, conferences and events (ex: Sea Air Space, legislative events, airshows)
- Track upcoming award nominations and draft submissions, manage the awards board
- Develop and release internal communications including Vanguard newsletter, program announcements and leadership messages
- Manage internal monitor (TVs) content in PMA spaces
- Monitor news outlets for program mention; manage media clips
- Mange the public release routing process
- Design, develop and produce museum-quality visual and graphic displays of all sizes and scopes
- Prepare and produce invitations, flyers and announcements
- Provide photography support for all program and program-related events, to include farewells, retirements, pinning ceremonies, all hands, briefings, roll up (as needed), dining out, annual picnics, holiday gatherings, team building events, local public events, etc.
- Attend team (PAO, Program) meetings as needed
Experience Requirements:
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a communication or writing field.
- Command of writing stories, captions and other products in Associated Press style preferred.
- Experience in creating and executing internal or externally-focused mass communications plans desired.
- Skilled in various social networking platforms.
- Exposure to media relations and working in or knowledge of Naval aviation acquisition environment desired.
- Competent in working in Windows, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe computing environment.
- Prior experience supporting NAVAIR Public Affairs Office and distinguished visitor and dignitary protocol is desired.

Education Requirement:
- BA/BS Degree
- Allowable Substitution for BA/BS Degree is an AA/AS degree plus an additional 2 years’ experience OR no degree plus an additional 4 years experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum Secret clearance required prior to employment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 -$110,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
