Job Description
Position: Warehouse Clerk
Reports to: Production Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary:
The person in this position is responsible for assisting in the ordering, processing and delivery of inventory.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
1. Assist company personnel in locating and/or obtaining necessary inventory.
2. Pull parts from stock to fill order and update stock as necessary.
3. Perform routine clerical tasks and maintain simple records.
4. Maintain a neat, safe and clean warehouse.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and qualifications:
The person in this position must possess (i) the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and co-workers; (ii) the ability to follow written and verbal instructions; and (iii) the ability to work within established guidelines with little direct supervision.
Employee must be able to perform physically demanding work as necessary to accomplish the functions of the position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand or stoop. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 50 pounds.
