What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager - Grain position at Stoughton Trailers?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop Stoughton Trailers' grain hopper business within the designated geographical territory.
- Cultivate and develop relationships with dealers, service centers, customers and prospects.
- Attend local, regional, and national trade shows to represent the Stoughton Trailers hopper bottom product line.
- Forecasting annual sales by model for the assigned geographical territory.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Responsible for filtration and qualification of incoming leads
- Communicates initial strategy for all new opportunities and works with management on how to allocate leads appropriately
- Communicates and monitors all opportunities in a timely fashion and with a sense of urgency Demonstrates strong customer service focus and ability to effectively communicate value propositions
- Responsible for demonstrating knowledge of target customers, competitive accounts, new growth opportunities and time and geography management; submitting reports consistently on a weekly basis implements key marketing strategies, business objectives, and treatment/practice growth plans
- Develops quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans designed to maximize client relationships and improve selling time in assigned remote geography
- Develop relationships with local service centers and local dealers to service the Grain product
- Travel Required up to 75%.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver's license
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Solution oriented & motivated by challenges and opportunities.
- A basic understanding of business finance including gross profit & expense management.
- Ability to develop & maintain relationships with a diverse set of customers and prospects.
- Attention to detail in all matters.
- Ability to understand the elements of a well thought out sales plan and implement it.
- Sales or territory management experience preferred.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer programs and the skills to proficiently use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
