Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Services Manager to join our team on a Full-Time basis in our Environmental Services Department.
The Environmental Services Manager (EVS Manager) is Responsible for management of the Environmental Services department, including the hiring, training, and supervision of housekeeping and linen/laundry staff, ensuring the hospital is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition. Establishes and maintains policies and procedures for the environmental services staff. Serves as a core member of the Safety Committee. Demonstrates knowledge and competence specific to the age of the patient/customer served.
Position Requirements:
- Preferred: High School graduate or equivalent
- Required Professional Experience: 5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in an institutional setting.
- Preferred Professional Experience: 3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Intermediate Skills - Able to perform fairly detailed formatting, create Word and Excel files, write formulas and prepare applicable charts for reports.
Work Shift:
- Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
- 40 hours per week
- Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
- Scheduled Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (flexible start time)
