Position Summary
Support CEO and Co-Founder of a production company with a high volume of administrative tasks, personal errands, as well as company social media management.
This is a fully in office on-site position.
REPORTS TO: CEO and Co-Founder
SCHEDULE: Full time, 5 days, for 40 hours per week
RATE: $47,500-$52,500
HIRING TIMELINE: A February-March 2026 start
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of office or administrative experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proactive thinker
- Problem Solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Multi-tasking
- Experience using multiple Social Media Platforms
- Interest in Documentary Film
Functions and Responsibilities:
Calendar and Correspondence Management
- Maintain schedule for CEO and Co-Founder
- Liaise with other departments including Accounting, Development, Production, and Scripted to set internal calls and meetings
- Coordinate calls and meetings with partners and top executives from various platforms
- Manage routine correspondence on behalf of the executives, via both email and phone
Social Media Management
- Maintain Story Syndicate’s Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Bluesky pages
- Update the Social Media calendar in Airtable for planning/tracking
- Create graphics for posts that don’t come with preset Key Assets
- Write concise, informative, and engaging copy for each post
- Monitor for any harmful/unwanted comments
Cost Tracking and Coding
- Track, code, and reconcile AMEX receipts for the executives and yourself
Managing/Scheduling Travel
- Coordinate travel and accommodation needs for the executives, as needed
Supporting Office/Operations
- Assist with office events and coordinating RSVP lists
- Design and curate email blasts
- Coordinate ordering/delivery of gifts
- Manage internal meeting requests and miscellaneous scheduling for company
Coordinating Personal Affairs
- Research for executives as requested
- Take notes on meetings as needed
- Miscellaneous personal tasks
