Overview
Story & Song Crew members create a special, comfortable place for customers and one another. Amelia Island’s most unique dining venue is a central part to enjoying a visit to the Story & Song Center for Arts & Culture. Customers browse a well-curated selection of books, cards, gifts and art and savor delicious house-made food and beverages.
We are looking for Crew members who can work weekends on a team to prep for brunch, lunch and catered events. A love of food and people is a must. Will train the right person. Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen facilities.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning up after customers to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service is preferred.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
