Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, providing attentive service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest safety.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
