About the Company Our client is a fast-growing energy markets business operating at the cutting edge of battery storage optimisation and power trading. They are expanding into new ISO markets and are looking for a Quant Analyst to sit at the intersection of quantitative modelling and market fundamentals, translating complex model outputs into real trading decisions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Using model outputs to inform and execute DART trading and BESS optimisation strategies
- Developing a deep understanding of congestion, shift factors and LMP dynamics across ISOs
- Working closely with the quant and engineering teams to bridge modelling and markets
- Contributing to forecasting workflows across ERCOT, PJM and MISO
- Operating in a fast-moving environment where analytical decisions have direct revenue impact
What They Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of wholesale power market fundamentals, particularly PJM or ERCOT
- ML and statistical modelling background with the ability to work with and interpret model outputs
- Comfort across forecasting, congestion analysis and basis risk concepts
- A quantitative degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or a related field
