β‘ Position Summary:
This role serves as the technical bridge between battery product development, certification, testing, and customer integration activities. You will lead battery compliance and certification efforts, support cell testing and validation programs, and provide technical expertise to both internal teams and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
β‘ Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead battery certification and compliance activities, including coordination with testing laboratories and certification agencies
β’ Manage technical documentation including product specifications, datasheets, safety documentation, and customer-facing materials
β’ Support battery cell testing, validation, and performance characterization programs
β’ Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and product teams to ensure successful product integration
β’ Analyze test results and translate findings into product requirements and customer guidance
β’ Act as a technical subject matter expert for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
β’ Drive cross-functional projects related to battery integration, qualification, and commercialization
β’ Mentor team members on battery technology, certification standards, and integration best practices
β‘ Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
β’ 7 years of experience in battery engineering, battery integration, product engineering, or related fields
β’ Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery technologies and cell characterization methodologies
β’ Experience with battery compliance and certification standards (e.g., UN38.3, UL, IEC)
β’ Proven ability to create and manage technical documentation and specifications
β’ Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
β’ Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams
β‘ Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
β’ Experience with advanced lithium-ion battery technologies
β’ Knowledge of battery pack integration and system-level applications
β’ Familiarity with transportation and shipping regulations for lithium-ion batteries
β’ Experience supporting customer-facing technical engagements
